I was introduced to photography as a young Corporal stationed in Germany. Soon I had launched a company newspaper and eventually found myself being issued media credentials for F1 events across Europe.

After my tour I stuck with racing, where I quickly gained a reputation for getting the exact shots a driver wanted. I started shooting the first full year of the Ferrari Challenge. That was 1994, when there was no official photographer for the series. Naturally drivers asked me to follow them the entire season. More than 20 years ensued!

My unofficial trademark has always been the fire suit, which I wore from day one. Thus, when anyone needed track information, or wanted a photographer, they usually were told to look for “the black photographer in the fire suit.” That would be me - Bruce B. Miller!
